I liked the price, the t.v., the refrigerator, and the heater that I had the second night I stayed.
The first night I stayed I was given a very poor room but I didn't say anything because I thought that's what I get for staying at such a cheap place. There were burn marks all over the floor, garbage on the roof, a weird old t.v., 2 beds when I only needed 1, and most importantly not a heater to speak of (something you kind of want in Lake Tahoe when it's still snowing in April).

Good location and helpful staff. New carpet and flooring in the bathroom.
Very old used furniture and old mattress/box spring in poor condition. Wooden trim missing from around door. No air conditioning. The hallway was very dirty and in very poor condition and in need of new carpet and paint. The parking lot was dirty with trash in many areas.

It was across the street from the lake & down the street from a nice park & some resturants & they had fresh coffee in the lobby.
The carpet in the room was stained & dirty & the bathroom could have been a little cleaner, i also found bed bugs in the bed around 2 am, i have stayed at this hotel before because i got a good price on the room & this was the first time this has happened.

For the good price (37 $ for a two queen bed room for one night a the 4th of July ) we werent expecting a good hotel. For one night it was okay, a bit noisy during the night.

I liked the fact that it was located a few minutes (by car) from Kings Beach.
The pillows were old and not fluffly. The comforters on the beds were ripped and the linen cart was right outside our hotel door and it was overflowing with dirty towels for those 2 days we stayed there.

Comfortable, low price, clean beds.
Indeed, the low price of the room reveals the level of service you get. The Building is a ruin, the rooms comfortable, but in a poor state. The ceiling was filled with holes probably made by bullets. Originally, we planned to stay two days, but ran away the next morning.

It's near the lake, but so are all hotels at Tahoe.
It was generally run down with paper thin walls. Also, the booking stated there is a fitness room and there isn't.

The Rooms were very very clean, but they do not change out the towels and we were there three days.. You had to go to the office to get linen... The beds were never made in the three days we were there... They could use a trash can in the bathroom and if your a smoking room there are no ash trays... They do provide coffee in the office which is very nice... This resort is older and not a fancy place but if your there just to sleep it is perfect.
